Rice Lake Big Fish Challenge Rules

RICE LAKE TOURIST ASSOCIATION’S ANNUAL FISHERMAN’S CHALLENGE

Rice Lake Tourist Association resorts have maintained a long tradition of an Annual Big Fish Contest.

Official Rules

Trophies will be awarded for the following largest fish by weight:

WALLEYE • LARGE MOUTH BASS • SMALL MOUTH BASS • MUSKIE • CATFISH • PERCH • SUNFISH • ROCK BASS • CRAPPIE • CARP

A. Fish must be caught in Rice Lake or its immediate tributary waters.
B. You must be a registered guest at a facility owned by a current member of the Rice Lake Tourist Association.
C. Challenge period – last Saturday in April to midnight, October 31st.
D. Weight must be in pounds and ounces. No decimal fractions allowed.
E. Length must be in inches. No decimal fractions allowed.
F. All entries must be completely filled out and accompanied by a good colour photo of you and your fish.
G. All entries must be brought to the November meeting of the R.L.T.A.
H. Trophies must be brought to the November meeting to be updated.
I. Entries will be judged by the membership at the November meeting. No changes will be made after the meeting.

RLTA member resort guests can take their catch to the management of their resort to see if it qualifies. If so, download, print, and fill out the entry form at that time and enter your fish in our contest.
